He spearheaded numerous product initiatives, which included advancements in video technology, CMS transitions, advertising solutions, analytics, and overall growth. His efforts also led to a substantial increase in newsletter engagement metrics, significantly boosting both open and click-through rates.


Richard's media expertise was also evident in his roles at other prominent media companies. He was the former Director of Digital Products and Strategy at The Week and led Content & Strategy at Thrillist. At Thrillist, he successfully launched several branded editorial products for sales and marketing initiatives, which resulted in a doubling of site traffic within two years. His early career milestones include managing the video department at Gawker Media, where he laid the foundational skills to propel his later successes.
